No person, agent, or representative thereof, directly or indirectly, shall cut down,
destroy, move or effectively destroy through damaging any tree except pursuant to
the procedures and requirements of chapter 46 of the Code of the City of Miami Beach.
No permit for development activity shall be issued until it has been determined that
no tree work permit is required or that a valid tree work permit has been issued in
compliance with chapter 46 of the Code of the City of Miami Beach. The environment and sustainability department
is responsible for administering and enforcing this provision in accordance with chapter 46 of the Code of the City of Miami Beach.
