§ 98-128. Inspection of work generally; appointment and duties of inspector.

  • After completion of work under this article, it shall be inspected to see that it is built to conform to the lines and grades furnished by the city. An inspector shall have access to all parts of the work at all times and shall point out to the contractor any neglect or disregard of the specifications. The duties and functions of such official are purely supervisory, and his decisions shall always be subject to the final approval of the director of public works.
